Socotra Glitch Photos pt. 2

They are first and foremost a beautiful work. But they say more than that and  are about the fact I was there. The allegorical sense of a moment. Each image overlaid in an almost brutish fashion is at most taken weeks between each one, if not minutes and made in one edit.

They allure to the fractal nature of my perception of the universe. Each work is an exploration of colour, story and composition. They tell a story rarely heard or seen, of the relationship between those who work at the camp and the ‘last smiling people’ of Socotra. They question western values, spirituality and an acceptance that I witness as contentment, happiness both archaic and far more advanced than our western systems of love in my opinion especially that in friendship.
