These works are from a road trip in the USA. Trying to connect to the soul of a place which should feel familiar to where I am from the UK yet so alien. At a time in US history that will forever affect both itself and the world at large just before the 2024 election. I sat about documenting what I thought felt like a country still in its adolescence still finding its footing yet alive and kicking. Full of energy and beautiful unspoilt wilderness. With both the richest and poorest people living in a land which looked after its inhabitants for thousands of years as they lived with and off the land in a funny sort of way, it felt like history repeating itself as the people know to live off their land pumping oil, water and food and a huge population of nomadic people following the seasons. I had a truly life-changing experience. Coming across the best and worst of human life.
